McManaman doesn't have a clue.

How are Ajax not further ahead in the Eredivisie? They're great.

That was great. United kept running at full tilt for 90 minutes and barely got the ball, lost but not badly enough to throw the second leg

Hope they finish 6th and concede six at Camp Nou

Wish I had watched Ajax vs Juve...need to find that game, great to see Ajax doing work

Fuck him. How he just came out of nowhere to become one of the most dangerous wide players in Europe. They truly lucked out. Pricks.

Huh? It was blatantly obvious he is quality back in those days for Bayer. I lost count on the amount of arsenal fans wishlisting him back those days.

I don't remember many wish listing him here if any.

I do. There were a few here and plenty on social media as well. He seemed to be a known talent

Got a bad feeling Spurs could get into the final.

Spurs v Liverpool final, the battle of the losers.

That would really drum home how lackadaisical our club has been. I don't think spurs will get that far though

Anything could happen. That Spurs have had a strong showing in the Last 16 and have won the first leg on their new patch is depressing enough. I worry that Pep won't have enough to win twice against them in the next week.
Wenger and Kroenke have really messed up our club. All these years in the cold. With the financial advantage that England has over everyone, we should be in this competition and then making it to the QF every time. It's depressing

I think that's too simplistic, there was a long period from 2010 till around this season where English teams as a whole were struggling in Europe despite having more spending power than most. There's been a bit of a renaissance now for Premier league clubs while German and Italian football are having a period of introspection.

I think that when one league is so economically superior to the others, there was only a question of time before we'd see results in CL. Premier League clubs have spent badly, but eventually you'll become good. I agree that it's too simplistic to say that we should be in the CL every year because Premier League clubs have so much money though, I'd argue that getting fourth is generally more difficult now than getting to the QF once you're in the tourney.

Just watched the Ajax match, really regret watching the United one. Ajax was full of quality, could have easily won and this generation of players is really fantastic. Hopefully Neres valuation doesn't go up so much to price us out, what a goal that was.

I’m more annoyed that we didn’t build on the historic advantage we had over Liverpool and Spurs. We should be out competing these teams. On paper we are wealthier. We spend far more than Spurs, and Pool have only just lately had the benefit of excess investment. Then with the Premier League advantages over other leagues, we should’ve been making QFs regularly. This is our biggest failing in last 10 years

Two exciting frontlines. I'm watching Juve-Ajax.
Barca-United put me to sleep last week

United by far the better side so far. Rashford missed a glorious chance in the opening minute.

Feel guilty saying this but Pogba really is a joy to watch.
