Don't even mind Spurs winning to be honest. Can stop city from winning the quad and let them concentrate on winning the league ahead of Pool.

Barca can do Spurs.

Barca might not make the final. Spurs will play Juve or Ajax in the semis

Fucking Aguero the bottler!!!

Pep brought subs on way too late. Silva and mahrez were useless all game

That stadium of there’s isn’t intimidating - but soulless and forced

100% record in their dump thanks to Son.
City had a lot of useless control today. They failed to put together that usually effective combination play in the box. They were largely kept at bay

Spurs and Poch regularly stifles Pep. Nothing surprising to be honest.

Spurs are boring - all they do is grapple.

Hopefully City play as they can in the return leg

Not that regularly. City had won the three last games and drew the one before. Tottenham hadn't beaten them since 2016.

there are no words to describe how much i hate son. didnt even watch the game but saw he scored and i assume it was some dumb deflected garbage where the ball magically bounced to him and he put it in the net. hate him. hate that entire club.

City will win easy at home and knock them out

Spurs are impressive defensively in these games, most of the time anyway. Glad Alderweireld is off in the summer as they won’t find anybody close to his ability to replace him.

Aguero was rubbish, bottling prick.

Fuck him. How he just came out of nowhere to become one of the most dangerous wide players in Europe. They truly lucked out. Pricks.

One missed pen and Augerro is a bottler? Guy has the best big game record in the Prem.

I think Spurs progressing wont be the worst thing in the world, we need them to be distracted from the league, they do not have the squad to compete on both fronts especially now Kane is out.

I don't want to see Spurs anywhere close to 2-3 games from winning the CL. We've seen unfancied Chelsea and Liverpool teams win it in the past, Spurs could easily fluke it if they got that far

What Clrnc should have said is that Pep has a poor record away from home in the CL.

Still think City can turn this around but the fact that they're fighting on three fronts means that they'll not really be able to focus on any task at hand and rest players accordingly. They can very easily end the season with 'only' the FA cup and the league cup.

I think Tottenham will do City. They will go through on away goals. They have been the best side away from home in the League. City are always vulnerable under pressure and Tottenham are good defensively. Moreover agree with Mirth, City even with their squad have too much on their plate.

Huh? It was blatantly obvious he is quality back in those days for Bayer. I lost count on the amount of arsenal fans wishlisting him back those days.

Exactly. Tons of us were wishlisting him back then. Having said that, he has clearly made a step up in terms of consistency. He was notoriously inconsistent at Bayer and his first season at Sp*rs and Poch has clearly now been able to iron that out of his game. Say what you will about his lack of trophies, but Poch has truly grown and developed players in a way which I hope Emery can, but I doubt given what I have seen thus far.

Yep, Son was well known for his time in Germany. His first season in England was a bit slow but he certainly didn't come out of nowhere.

Messi Masterclass incoming lads.
