Liverpool are knocking but Bayern show their class at times.
Firmino has been ace. Best player on the pitch IMO

2/10 hair on a 6/10 player. All in all 4/10.

I don't even think we would be ready for Champs League next year. Finishing 5th might be a blessing in disguise if the owner is willing to invest. We need to build the squad and focus on winning the league. Trying to win the league and compete with these teams on Wednesdays is still far away despite what Josh says. Agree with the Firmino assessment. He's looked good. Gnabry's lively but has had a few Iwobisms.
Coman is class
Yeah Coman is excellent.
Fermino is boss. So technically adept and hard-working.
Mane is surprisingly technical too. Quality touch and passing.
Coman is fantastic and would have been top class right now if it weren't for his glass ankles. Apparently they're so bad he considered retirement after the last surgery in case it didn't help. I'm really glad that he's had a resurgence in the last month. The game needs more dribblers like him.
Who's that auditioning for the Handmaid's Tale in the stands? Coman's developing nicely. Hopefully, his injuries fade away over time.
Coman, Mane, Gnabry, Salah. Why can't we have a winger like these?

you will note we gave one away. and then spent most of the last twelve years looking for barrel-shaped central attacking midfielders

Whoever let him go is fucking stupid. Giving Robertson a torrid time, while we're stuck with Iwobi.
He had six months left on his contract and didn't want to extend. Not exactly much we could do about it.

you will find that we keep finding ourselves in this situation. should've extended him at 12 months and sent him off to to a serious place like Hoffenheim for 12 months. i suspect he was nervous was about certainty in playing time given the amount of time he had lost with injury. and we fumbled

That heralded Wenger-Gazidis-Law axis.
I pray Saka and Amaechi are given a proper shot.

I'm sure the idea came up when we sat down with him. Gnabry just wanted to go after losing so much time in England. He was highly rated by Arsenal too. We were fast-tracking him into the first team before he did his knee. Sometimes shit happens.
Remember being so excited about having the Ox and Gnabry at the same time back in 2013 thinking what ballers we're gonna have on our wings for the foreseeable future. Sad.
There's no escaping Gollum. Gets a mention in this game
The way Liverpool pin Bayern back the entire game is really impressive, but with that defence and if Bayern fail to score they are confirm frauds
Only tuned in for the second half. Pool attacking a lot, running at bayern non stop but with no creativity in the final third. Not too hard to defend for bayern till now, that right?
