Champions League 2018/2019
I think people are overstating how easy City's group is. They'll get through, but there are only capable teams in that group.
Are people really complaining about it being easy? It should be easier. They finished top of the league.
Good teams in City group, but no where near their level. They will win big against them, all 3 weak defensively.
Real chance United and Spurs get knocked out in group stage, more chance of the former IMO as Inter hasn't started well at all.
If Sarri is still at Napoli it would have been tough for Liverpool, but under Ancelotti should be no problem.
Think Spurs are toast in that group. Inter have a tendency to disappoint massively but they've made some class signings. Nainggolan, de Vrij, Asamoah and Vrsalkjko is a seriously good haul. They took Baldé from Monaco too who could end up being a good joker.
Watched Inter over the weekend against Torino. They looked decent going forward, but susceptible in the back. I hope they can get their act together enough to push Spurs into the Europa League, but Spurs should be good enough to finish a comfortable second based on what I've seen.
Liverpool should finish 2nd as well. At least we get some good groups with the English teams.
Group D is the group of life.
Look at all those glamorous ties. We're nowhere to be found.
Messi makes free kicks look so simple.
Liverpool starting really well. PSG don't seem to have a clue so far.
nice to see Spuds snatch defeat from the jaws of victory
That’s a special level of stupidity form Bernat.
Tuchel has not set his team up well at all.
Banger goals all around today, Messi so special
Smashing goal from Icardi.
Spurs look a bit stale and tired
Liverpool look fucking great though.
Mbappeeeeeeeee. Get in.
Mbappe!!
Fuck off ref. That was a foul in the buildup.
PSG was fucking woeful tonight.
As must as I dislike Liverpool, I can’t say I’m dissapointed to see The Qatar Investmetn Authority, and Neymar, lose.
Firmino is world class.
World class lesbian

Couldn't have been Icardi, he's just a talentless poacher
Mane or Hazard?
Hazard by a country mile. I'd have Hazard over any footballer in the world not named Messi, Ronaldo or Neymar.
Just saw the Spuds highlight.
Teehee.

Would have Hazard over Neymar too. Easily in fact.

Icardi is such a weird player. Practically useless except for when he gets the ball in a potentially goal scoring situation.
From what I've seen of Icardi other poachers such as van Nistelrooy and even Inzaghi had more to their game than him.
So nice to see Spurs heading to 'crisis' as the red tops like to call a short losing streak. I hope they take their flashy stadium to the Championship
Can't think of anything more insufferable than the potentiality of Liverpool rejoining the summit of domestic and European football. Would be really bad.
Hate to admit it, but Liverpool looked really good for the most part. What impressed me the most was their ability to just up the intensity significantly after the late PSG equalizer.
Wasn't impressed at all with Tuchel's preparation for the match and his game management. Looked like a poor man's Klopp despite having a much stronger side to work with. Maybe he needs time to get his ideas through to the players and to drill them more until they are better at executing it, but it did not look good for them last night.
Finding Klopp to be absolutely insufferable. Can't stand his bs man of the people thing.

It looked as if they just really couldn't be arsed to put in the effort. Neymar and Mbappé made Özil look like Roy Keane. Their midfield was porous as well. I can't see them fighting seriously for the CL title this season unless something drastic happens.
Not impressed with PSG but then again, City got stuffed worse than this last year. When Liverpool get going in a big match at Anfield hardly any side could stand that onslaught in that period of pressure. Until now I haven't seen any team successfully withstand that amount of pressing and play their way out to win at Anfield in an important match for the past year or so.
It's pretty similar when Klopp was at Dortmund but to a lesser effect. Madrid and other teams used to get beaten badly in Dortmund.

Have to admit it's very shrewd of him though. He reads that deluded fanbase like an open book. He could drop them down to the lower half of the table and they'd still be eating out of his hand.
I don't know about that, a fair number of them wanted him out as recently as last Dec/Jan. I think the CL run did a lot to win them over.
Has his attitude or approach changed? As far as I know this is his actual personality, and I like it. From all reports that is how he has always behaved back at Dortmund and at Mainz...
It is his personality. He really is down to earth
