I'm just annoyed how Ndombele is already making himself integral to the French national team this season. He's getting more time than teammate Fekir. He's probably picked up 5-10m pounds on his price this season alone.

Good game starting - Monaco vs. Atletico

Henry looks like he's had enough 2 minutes in. They're one-nil down. I don't think I've ever seen this man happy by the end of a Monaco game. Going from being an assistant manager for a national team with one of the finest collection of players in the world to running a declining, relegation-threatened club: mad!

He's such an idiot for going there in the first place. There's no way to help Monaco until they hit rock bottom now.

They can't defend. Hopefully, he learned a thing or two about defending from Wenger and Martinez.

I think it's more because one of his centrebacks is 17 while the other one is 35.

It's crazy when you think about it. Monaco have systematically gutted their squad in a way I haven't seen since Ajax lost their entire CL winning side. The difference is that the Bosman rule screwed them over. Monaco did this to themselves for profit.

He wasn’t going to be progressing much as assistant manager to Martinez in international football.

Neither in international football nor as an assistant to Martinez anywhere

Poor bloke can't catch a break, Falcao misses a pen after Atletico go down to ten. I'm not Claude but to me this seems like some seriously strong juju

They were awful, mate. Juju was not used on this November evening.
I feel bad for the guy. I have not seen much which suggests he is coaching the teams well. But then again, as Klaus notes, this team has been ripped apart. Over and above that, 9 players were injured coming into the game today. He's going to relegate a club he loves.

It's probably a combination of both, him being unable to coach a team and the team being too imbalanced and inexperienced.

Either way we should be ready to poach a couple of the talented kids there. Tielemans is the obvious one but Geubbels Diop Pellegri or even Sidibe are all worth a punt

Yeah. Agree on Tielemans.

Watching PSG Pool now. I predict 3-1 Pool, but the heart hopes for the reverse.

1-0 Neymar. Liverpool being toyed around with the opening 13 minutes

Goal was from Juan "He's shit so I sell him for nothing on purpose-Hoeneß" Bernat

Get in. Neymar and Mbappe like cheetahs sprinting down that field. 2-0.
Even doing the money dance!

Fucking Pool. They have the bestest luck.

What a ridiculous challenge.

PSG are always doing dumb shit in defense

Kimpembe looks like an accident waiting to happen at fullback

Sometimes you wish football had multiple subs like basketball. That Di Maria foul deserves an immediate benching. WTF. Flying in like its UFC 231

I haven't really watched Monaco but has he at least implemented a style of play, even if its failing?

I see this goal:

But I don't understand it. The lack of back lift, the choice of corner and the power that is behind the shot doesn't make sense.

Jones will tell you it's juju.
Awesome goal

Eriksen is a top player.

Happiness. So good to see PSG win.

Liverpool in the Europa League is not good news for us.

Inter deserved to win that, they were all over Tottenham from what I saw. At least Liverpool lost.

And PSG is? Nothing good will come out of this group as far as we are concerned. The best that can happen is that the bottom team wins, Pool loses and Pool finishes 4th, but that is unlikely

Bring it on. Make the Europa League interesting.

PSG beating us instead of Liverpool would be far less sickening.

What do spurs need to do to qualify then? If inter match their result, inter will go through.

Outrageous first touch from Mertens. It would be noteworthy if he didn't do this every single week.

Seeing Liverpool humbled warms the heart.

I'll worry about the consequences later.

Hahahaha. I see too many games where Liverpool do a job. I hate them. Klopp is earning his paycheck.

Nah, Tottenham looked great in the first half.

Sounds like the 2nd half was different?

Love a goal where the first touch is more impressive than a great finish.

It fucking is. I normally think of myself being not shy of finding some other explanation when I talk to my family back home but in this case I'm not even trying honestly

Liverpool were really poor last night. They barely had a sniff all game. It's amazing that neither Keita nor Fabinho can get in the team ahead of Henderson and Milner and Salah looks a shadow of the player he was last season. That's now 5 consecutive away losses in the CL for them (including Red Star).

In French and Portuguese mostly, through broad smiles. Crazy Liverpudlians

Liverpool should be classified as a mental illness

They played like utter dogshit and kicked lumps out their opponents yet the whole brigade players and pundits are out yapping about PSG

of course they'd be braying about the opposite - that PSG were diving all over the place. Sorry they don't have PL refs.
