Yeah Waldschmidt has had a stormer of a tournament. Like his dynamism, seems to have great drive out of midfield.

Spain giving France the business in their u21 semi final. 4-1 so far. Quite a few talented players on display for both sides but Spain has been technically superior and more cohesive.

Guendouzi is playing. Not impressive. Much too passive.

He is not really, also know for a fact he used to do cocaine while clubbing. Maybe he is off that shit now but still. There is a reason he plays in Serie B.

23 years old with 9 goals in 33 games in Serie B last season. I'm sure he has potential but that is stretching the definition of lethal to its breaking point.

After Marcus Berg I've learned not to make conclusions on how lethal strikers are based on youth international tournaments!

Whatever happened to Pellegri? The kid from Genoa? Was he just all hype?

On that note is Odegaard officially a flop? If so was he overrated, made the wrong move or just didn't develop as expected?

I always find players who break through into senior football at a really young age end up being assessed on that rather than their actual ability.

I think too much is made of performance at youth tournaments, too. The time and space that players are getting in the games I've seen at the U21 Championships, for example, makes judging how good someone is or can be very difficult.
