England slower-paced than the Dutch, attacking in clear patterns/combinations and on the counter. Dutch are more fluid, but are very sloppy in the final third, don't look like they have as clear a plan. Still, they look more likely to score.

Game isn't great. That was very sloppy by the Dutch to hand England the lead. Have been disappointed by the Dutch going forward - as you saying, they're not connecting with through balls in the final third, or just taking weak shots.

Ajax gave me the impression that Holland were enjoying a revival. Then I saw Ryan Babel still plays for them.

Sancho is quality, but I do wonder if he can take the next step up. At the moment his ability to really impact games is quite limited. If he can, he’ll be world class.

Any team that is dependent on Depay and Babel for goals will never truly scare. They need to naturalize some Latin Americans and Africans.
