Well deserved victory, best team won this World Cup.

France were the best in the tournament but they'll need to do more to be remembered as a great side.

Final was ruined by a bad ref and a terrible VAR decision though. If VAR has thought us anything in this world cup its that no matter what tech you give referees they will still fuck it up.

This France team winning the whole thing, and the dreadfully low quality of the game today, sums up where the World Cup and international football is at relative to club football. The gulf is larger than ever.

And the fact that there was one single 0-0 throughout the whole tournament sums up the state of goalkeeping and defending in football. Embarrassingly poor.

Happy for Mbappé, but that's it.

for those pissed off that france were negative, im not really sure how you say that. they scored 4 goals in a WC final, defended well and it would have been 4-1 if not for a Spursy moment from Lloris.

Fully deserved IMO. Croatia couldn't break through and completely ran out of gas. (oh, and Subasic was pitiful)

They got the first two goals out of nothing and then caught a desperate Croatia on the counter. Hardly a positive performance. That was one of the worst midfield displays I've ever seen in a big game and somehow they won 4-2. Awful final.
