Announced formally today after what seemed to be a never-ending wait, although in reality it was just 2-3 weeks.
Squad number 11, apparently (not official, just rumours). We'll have to wait and see how the season pans out before passing judgment on the quality of this transfer, but efficiency is the word for its execution. Really exciting times!

doubtful.. think we are done with first teamers at this point.. we will probably sign one or 2 more prospects (Guendouzi and...?)
Think this is a very good signing, but I expect him to struggle at some point during the season. There'll be a lot of things to adapt to. Terrific value though and clever by the club to move for him so quickly. It would have required much more effort to get a deal done after the World Cup.

Yeah I think the squad is pretty much settled at this point. This is what we'll go to war with. I don't think there's any need for more youngsters. Hopefully we can get back into the top 4 and then make another centreback signing next year instead, a good one in his mid-20s who'll go straight into the team.
This guy will add a lot to our midfield.
If we can get rid off Elneny, Mustafi, Campbell, one of Welbeck/Perez, Iwobi, Ospina and get a CB, winger and N'zonzi it'll be amazing.
And entirely unrealistic.

Seems like a player who would be out of our budget this time next year. Sure, he's got a few things to learn but this is the level of signings we need.
