Mbappé was the most obvious talent I’d ever seen bar Messi. Bossed it in last seasons CL as an 18 yr old. Genuinely dumbfounded that Madrid and Barcelona were not overly keen on him.

Wenger was the only reason we even had a look in, but we never really had a chance unless he wanted a bit more of a gradual incline. Still think we would have been a better move for him. PSG is a circus.

Monaco's vice president said they accepted Real's offer of 180m for him. Mbappe rejected Real to go to PSG. I heard that Real wouldn't match his wages at PSG as well.

Last summer, PSG promised transfer fees that itvknows it can’t back up going forward. It’s a farce. We lost out in Mbappe 3 or 4 years ago. That’s why we need to go after Fabregas-and-Merida type talents again.

Apparently he was clocked at 38km/h on his run for the penalty. Absolutely insane if true. There are fast players like Sané whose pace is a major reason that they're top players and then there's someone like Mbappé who'd be world class even without that ridiculous pace. That run looked like someone maxed out the pace of their player in FIFA

Don't think scoring the two goals that put your team through to the QFs as doing nothing. Neither is scoring 3 goals in a WC at only just the R16 games. Thierry was France's top scorer in '98 and he had 3 goals in total.

I could probably name some Barca, Bayern or Juve player that's done similar that's also not in the GOAT conversation.
The reason these 2 are is because of their body of work over 15 years and we all know it.
