I can't explain properly. With the resources at his disposal, he should be trying to match them and beat them. And yes, I admire a team that tries to nullify the other team's strength but not to the extent where you just hope for a point for that particular 6 pointer game. matching and beating liverpool at 100mph (the only style they know how to play) isnt really what you want to do, especially at Anfield... honestly, a 0-0 draw away to their main title contender is a respectable result for City. they had slightly more possession and had as many shots on target as Pool did
