Hazard was good but the speed at which that midfield worked to unlock Liverpool was special.

Hazard has pretty much decided he wants to score that goal from the flick twenty yards inside his own half. By the time he reaches the Liverpool defence he's at full tilt and they've just started moving. It's that confidence and sheer intent that's oozing out of him currently.

Giroud has been a consistently useful player at club and international level, despite his limitations as a forward. It's a bit of a surprise academies don't try to turn out more and better Girouds.
