And Chambers was good for us last season, went on loan this season, would be a better option than Monreal or Mustafi for next season and at worst will sell for decent money. Chambers is exactly why make deals like this. Even if it doesn't work out you are still sitting pretty. Instead we get guys like Sokratis who aren't the quality we need but then have little or no sell on value.
Obviously it'd be price dependant on someone like Sessegnon but for anything less than €20m I'd snap him up. If Saka and Nelson are good enough they'll overtake him and we can move him on. And deals like this would have to be peppered in with some decent buys in their mid 20s like Fraser for example (actually interested in what you think of him as a potential target) and some key players on top of that. We need a diversity of signings and it needs to include speculating on young talent. And the ones that have hit the level where'd they'd start for us are usually out of our price range already. We need a few risks.
