i dont care that england won, i care that spuds players had something to do with it. especially that dumb oaf who is somehow always in the right place every single fucking time.

Do you hate Belgium too?

i dont have a real rooting interest because im american and we will always be garbage on the international stage. i generally root against players that play for our rivals, especially spuds and man united. if muller or reus played for spuds, id still hope germany wins, but id hate if muller or reus scored goals.

I absolutely love that England winning winds so many people up.

Why? People dislike England because they're full of Spurs and United players why would anyone be happy with people being unhappy over those wankers winning.

A lot of positives to take from tonight. Very wasteful but we created more chances than most. Bodes very well

Love Island straight on before I’ve had a chance to watch the post match interviews

Rashford could also start with Loftus. No?

I get that there are some Spurs players in there but if you could put up with Cole, Neville, Terry, Gerrard and Rooney, this is tame.

Yeah, the golden generation really killed my enthusiasm for the national team. This XI isn’t too bad, but as much as I’m trying to force myself to care I honestly felt nothing when the winner went in. Last time I properly cared was probably 2004. Been forced ever since.

Maybe it’ll change in the knockout games.

For about 20 or 30 mins in the first half we could have easily scored 3 or 4 goals but for some wastefulness in front of goal. We pressed well and actually passed well under pressure.

After their goal the team went into it's shell a bit and allowed Tunisia to regain some possession but even then all the best chances fell to England. Plus there were two stonewall penalties denied on Kane that shoild have been given.

Don't think we have enough to pull it off but who knows with the way the top teams have been playing this year. If we somehow get Vardy involved I'd feel a lot more confident in our counter attacks.

I thought he was poor when he came on. Vardy would be better.

I support England because I'm English. I was happy when the winner went in and in general don't care about the Spurs and Utd players even when they're playing for their clubs. It's the clubs themselves I hate.

I am able to put club affinities aside anyway. There will always be rival players playing for England anyway.

Potentially, but I think I’d rather keep him as a sub to inject energy later on

Obviously. I don't have a problem with either country if I dislike a team it's because of their players.

I still fail to comprehend how any Arsenal fan can cheer a goal scored by that fucking gimp. I know thousands and thousands do, I just can't rationalise it personally.

I wish I could fast forward football to the start the League season to be honest. Ronaldo and the other top players are fun to watch, but I don't have any interest in Panama, Iran and, worse, England.

It’s ridiculous for anyone to expect an Englishman to allow club rivalries to get in the way of his allegiance

It’s actually quite refreshing putting rivalries to one side to pull together.

I get that non English folk won’t be keen but that’s nothing new

The only really irritating Spurs player in an England context is Alli, Kane's only annoying when he's scoring for Spurs.

The United players are probably about the most inoffensive United players ever.

Also Alli really shouldn't start the next game anyway so his presence is doubly annoying.

Unfortunately, England looked a team who are going to get rolled over badly - terrible tactics and too many average players.

You don't have to prove your Arsenalness on here.

It's possible to celebrate a goal scored by England.
