Looks like there's a witch hunt against Ozil wherever he goes, is it down to his laidback style of okay ? OK he was poor against Mexico but no poorer than the average German player. Müller will never be dropped so it was him or Draxler. Özil doesn't have a lobby in Germany and plenty of racist pricks slate him in the media might well have an influence on the managers decision. Draxler is more of a long range threat if you wanted to be creative for reasons you'd pick him over Özil against deep sitting Swedes
Honestly the decision to not review that penalty claim seems so bizarre that I'd believe it if someone said it was a fix.
