Knew it was going in when the ball fell to him. He just doesn't miss from that position

He has perfected that curler from outside the box. It's pretty cool. More players should try to place it from that distance.

Remember the days when we had so many players who perfected the curler from outside the box? Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, even Freddie had it in his locker.

Don't see many players either attampt, or having the technique to shoot like that anymore. Most players want to blast it in these days.

Who knows, maybe it's because goalkeepers are much better these days than back then but still seems like a bit of a lost art.

To be fair Coutinho himself usually tries that 5/6 times before it works.

That's the impression of him a couple of years back, but he's become much more efficient at it now

Jesus shouldn't be starting ahead of Firiminho.

Jesus has looked mediocre pretty much every time I've seen him play. Firminho is better.

HAHAHAHAHA

poor defending from Brazil on that corner.. great header by Zuber

That marking though.

typical brazil with the shitty defending lol

is it me or does Neymar look to be afraid of Behrami at this point?

He's just a goal poacher not much else to his game.

...............and behrami's day could be done.. looks like he did his knee

Swiss have played Brazil off the park so far.

At least we no longer get to see the likes of Fred and Julio Baptista upfront for Brazil.

They should’ve kept Diego Costa in the fold

Aye. Absolutely ridiculous defending and keeping all the same though.

Behrami is a proper DM

would it have been a penalty if it were the other way around?   im thinking not

I'm thinking there would have been a legit call for it, especially with the benefit of video technology.

Brazil played too casual after taking the lead. Think they are gonna turn the screw and get the winner

Agree with this. Loads of people seem to claim he does much more. Don't see it myself .

i dont see it..  it was a pretty small push..  they didnt even see the need to review it, so it clearly wasnt enough

they need to fix this in football. these kinds of fouls. yellow is mild.

This has been the worst ref of the finals, so far.

Akanji has been impressive tonight. Need to target him instead of fucking Sokratis.

Really odd from Jesus, if you’re going to go down do it right away, not when you actually go free.

yep..  when you take 2-3 steps after and then tumble, you arent gonna get a call

How is that a dive? Akanjis hands are almost touching ffs

Ref is definitely the worst so far

Did the referee refuse to use VAR? 😆 Surely someone told him.

was a great brazilian move for that chance though before jesus messed it up

Arsene Wenger on beIN: “Lichtsteiner is too slow to deal with the pace of Marcelo, Coutinho, and Neymar on the left. Xhaka’s positioning has been poor and hasn’t been able to contain the Brazilian midfield.”

no way.  only thing that might have been a foul was leg contact, but after taking 2 steps and then going down, nope
