What a goal. Musa, amazing run and composure. Should possibly have already had a hatrick were it not for the bar.

They will give a penalty probably

That's a penalty to Iceland.

This makes Argentina's collapse yesterday even more embarrassing.

Phew. That was a scary moment. Carved up. Nigeria need to be professional and see this out.

Argentina have a bigger lifeline.

Nigeria v Argentina is gonna be mad.

Agreed. This is the result Argentina wanted, but they really need to step up. They have a great chance now. They just have to hope Croatia doesn’t field a second 11 that gets hammered. We have a group.

Two goal of the tourney contenders. Musa is an odd one, 7 games out of ten he's a complete dud, 2 he looks alright and one game every blue moon he completely tears teams apart by himself.

Argentina should go:

Mercado-Otamendi-Mascherano-Rojo
———————Banega
——Dybala———————DiMaria
———————Messi
———Aguero————Higuain

They played Mascherano and Enzo Perez against Modric and Rakitic. Mascherano last played in midfield almost a decade back. It was laughable.

Not sure how Ray's midfield would do any better against Croatia.

They're just abysmal in midfield right now.

I would say Di Maria and Dybala are better options than Acuna and Meza. And in Banega they have someone who can actually pass.

I have no preference, but I would like more underdogs in the latter stages. Mexico would be great

I think England fit the description of underdog.

I don't see England as underdogs.
My eye test, based on the games so far, ranks them top 5 (quarter-finals) minimum.
Iceland are the ultimate underdogs but their qualifying would be a walk-over for whichever team they meet in the knock-out stages as, although they are well drilled in 100% defending, they have no idea how to attack.

Their part-time status really showed against Nigeria who weren't much cop either.
To me, it's incredible that they qualified ahead of Ukraine and Turkey.

No one gave England a chance prior to the start. Now they've won one game they are Top 5?
