Pretty much. As a plan B he'd be great but his transfer got us Aubameyang who has an excellent relationship with our current plan B - Lacazette. So good luck to Giroud but I'm not sorry he's gone.

He scored five league goals last season. There are plenty of things you can say for Benzema, and there are a couple of things you can say against him. But I don't think I've ever seen such an outrageously horseshit bad season from a Real Madrid striker before. He should be ashamed of himself.

Giroud could have outperformed Benzema last season at Real Madrid. Also think he's the right choice for a French squad that has been behest by bickering/divisions in the past, he's clearly well liked and an unifying force (unlike Benzema).

No, the difference is that he played 1500 minutes more than Giroud in the league alone.

Feel free to drop it any time. Everyone's familiar with the case. I take it that you're extremely well aware that he won an appeal because the police conducted themselves questionably, not because he was innocent. Everyone knows who and what he is, and it will show in the end when everything has been settled.

Giroud was not good enough to play more minutes. He was benched for Lacazette and had to go to Chelsea to get more minutes. Lucky Chelsea had a dud as their striker , so Giroud got more minutes there.

Scoring a crucial goal in a CL final is huge. Big difference from scoring against the Sunderlands of this world in a non pressured match

No, most people are going by rumours. He's innocent in my eyes until proven guilty in court
