Would love to see Iran going through this group, hopefully at the expense of Portugal
Group B (Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Iran)
Iran are absolutely disgusting to watch. Irritating as hell how do you go to a World Cup and serve this dogshit and feel no shame.
Now this embarrassment I'd hand in my passport if I was Iranian

What for? Diving time wasting from the first minute, going for legs first ball second, bet Pulis is welling up with pride watching this game
Was just about to say that that was a weird comment. Iran look just about the shithousiest team at this WC.

Portugal without Ronaldo would look like this against Spain too. I like some upsets

They'd look horrible just like they did today with him but they'd at least try to play football from time to time. These cunts are blatantly not even interested in the ball
This tells you how difficult it is to play against sides who set up so defensively. Even a team as technically accomplished as Spain are struggling to create chances against them. France vs Australia is another match that comes to mind.
Hope Spain get an early 2nd half goal to help open things up a bit.
Can’t get over how bad Spain have looked. Mind you, they don’t really have have particularly good side. A load of old player makers and Costa.
Have to admire what Carlos Queiroz has done with such a limited team like Iran. No surprise they didn't concede a single goal in the qualifiers and the last edition only lost out to an injury time Messi magic.
This is such bullshit from Spain. On any given day they're one of the top three national teams in the world. They have no business playing like this. They need the points tonight too.
This has been a shit day for football.
If only it was that easy. All the big teams have struggled to break down defensive sides so far. It's not because of lack of trying or quality, it's simply not an easy thing to do.
An early set piece goal or a lucky deflection usually helps open up the match. Iran are well drilled, they remind me of Atletico (when they are defending a lead)

They're playing cynical dirty 11 men behind the ball football from the first minute. The likes of Sweden or Iceland deserve praise for their defensive structure despite fielding mostly plumbers and actors, this team and Quieroz deserve capital punishment for crimes against football.
Spain are so annoying, and have been just as violent as Iran. Going in twofooted on the goalie should be a sending off.
More red cards should be issued as a general policy. The game is ruined by cowardly refereeing.
Iran missed a great chance and now Spain score. Another OG
OG number 27 for this World Cup
Was about to praise Costa for that goal, but then I realised he was so slow on the turn that the Iranian defender got pissed off and knocked it in for him instead.
Lame.
Spain are so jammy. Seriously mediocre too. Still waiting for a good team in this WC.

Honestly the only 2 teams that played well are in the same group. England and Belgium
