What, this is actually happening? 😆 I didn't bother reading the thread since I thought it was BS, and then I see that Ornstein tweeted it. It better not be more than a one year contract, he hasn't been up to scratch in a long time. As some of you say, maybe it's because of his attitude and experience.

Agree with flobs here. This is worse than buying a washed up Cech - who also supposedly was a winner and had experience of winning things and a great attitude. Fat lot of good it did us. This feels like it will be a bigger disaster.

The guy is a proper cunt, we need some in our team. If it's a one year deal, or two max no big wages it's alright. Bellerin can get some rest and Maitland Niles can play in the middle of the park. Also, Chambers won't get killed on the right anymore 😆 .

I have decided to go with everything they do now that Wenger has left. I trust them and the new manager, will see later how it ends up.

Good point actually, I forgot about his performance at Spurs basically turned the tie around when he came on. He's backup experienced and good for the dressing room, will hopefully give Bellerin a boost both for him to find time to rest and some competition.

There's no "meme fuckery". I genuinely think the club is going in a horrible direction. Unless a player is some World XI talent or thereabouts (or a GK), I don't think there's any reason for the club to sign any player over the age of 23 given the constitution of the squad right now. As it relates specifically to what we should do about RB, just fucking play AMN there. He could hardly get off the bench for the England U-19s as a CM while he came to prominence initially in the Arsenal youth teams and then for Ipswich Town as a winger. People are kidding themselves about that kid. He's either a fullback or he's probably not a PL level player.

Decent move. Provides back up for Bellerin although at 34 can't see him staying for longer than 2 years max.

this thread is amazing. half the people think hes 89 years old and terrible, the other half are happy and think he'll definitely bring positives to the team.

i expect his wages will replace santi's wages. no transfer fee, and doubtful he'll receive a big sign on bonus given his age.

from what ive seen of him over the last 5 years, hes a warrior, he never stops sprinting up and down the flank, and hes capable of a cross.

as someone who doesn't rate bellerin very highly, im fine with adding him as competition there. hes about 20000 times better than fucking debuchy
