West Ham have signed Yarmolenko for 17M. I thought he was quite highly rated - surprised he has landed at West Ham. Anyone has an idea of how he did at Dortmund?

underwhelming from what i heard. probably could have used another season there to really get into the team properly, but at 28, they expected a done deal, and got someone who really needed to adapt.. and i think he had an achilles injury somewhere in the season (Feb maybe?)

came in for 25 million.. leaving for 17 million after 1 middling season

They signed Felipe Anderson for 40m too. Klaus has a chance to see his favorite player in the PL now

i love some of the headlines for that.. "Fulham beat out Chelsea, Arsenal and Napoli for Seri".. and it goes on to say that Chelsea and Arsenal were previously linked to him... yeah, LAST SUMMER when Wenger was still in WUM mode.. they didn't "beat" anyone to his signature. I am pretty sure if any of the 3 teams mentioned were actually putting in a bid for him, he would have gone there

Wenger was in WUM mode but I reckon the Seri links to top clubs were all agent bullshit.

No, Seri to Barcelona was 100% genuine and almost done when in the last minute Bartomeu stepped in and called the deal off for some reason. Nices president told the media how Seri was in tears heartbroken after the transfer fell through don't think he'd make that stuff up.

I think the links last summer were genuine and maybe the interest this summer is genuine too but given that he didn't have the best of seasons (so I'm told?) it's probably not as serious as last summer. I guess Fulham are the only ones to make a concrete offer and a good one at that.
