Not that I'm advocating making him a fixture of the first XI again, because I thought he let us down in the back end of last season, but he was good for most of his time on the pitch against Forest and to be perfectly honest I thought he was one of our better players against Watford too. I think he's been playing with a bit more swagger this season.

I thought he was pretty awful against Watford but so was everyone. He definitely faded a lot second half vs Forrest, I don't think he's close to fully fit.

First outing after missing Newcastle, Burnley, Liverpool and Tottenham and he was not terrible against Watford. He was better than most of the match-fit players namely Maitland-Niles, Guendouzi,, Sokratis, Luiz, Ceballos, Xhaka and Pepé.

Looking at our squad photo its pretty evident to see how inexperienced it is. I think the loan would a be a pretty destructive call unless it's matched with a senior addition, preferably a creative player. John Cross with the scoop is it? Still not buying the smoke.

I wouldn't play him because he is not as match fit as the other guys playing regular matches, unlike Emery who won't play him as he doesn't want him match fit so it makes it easier to justify getting rid.
This is pure speculation on my part before peoples start getting their knickers tied in knots.

On Arseblog last week they said Per had told journos that Emerys problem with Ozil was he wasn't training hard enough. If thats the case its the opposite of your speculation.
