I think he’s finally off. And to be honest, I’m glad.

Wouldn't bank on us swapping any good players for him, getting him off the wage bill will be decent for starters

Saw Ivan Campo in a club when out in Manchester about 11 years ago. He was besotted with my mate (a bloke) and dressed like absolute shit 😆

Actually other members of the Bolton team were there too, including Nolan. He was telling people he should blatantly be in the England squad.

That's the thing though they signed him as a defensive midfielder but previous he'd always played with someone who did that work behind him. He just happened to look like a hard man.

A bit like when everyone was loving Cabaye in that stint in Newcastle where they played 2 holding mids behind him and he looked great with the free role. People spoke about him as if he was still a deep midfielder for some reason.

Well he's back in the squad and likely to star against burnley according to the latest reports. I would've questioned emerys decision to bench him indefinitely at a time when the squad is being stretched, even if the ultimate intent is to move him on

It think emery will still give him chances to get back into the team, or earn a move. We can't hope to shift him if he's a mile from fitness.

We can't shift him due to £300,000 per week till 2021.
Very few clubs can afford to pay that money and he has to agree to go so forget about China or Russia.
The clubs that can pay that are the financially-doped clubs already wrestling with wage bills that break the FFP so will have no interest.
Benching him for the likes of Iwobi and Mkhi is the equivalent of chopping off your nose to spite your face as they are far worse.
He knows that and that's why he is smiling while we vent rubbish on forums he will never read.
