For me Ozil just needs to be shown love and he will respond in kind. I absolutely believe he could become club captain on a permanent basis as I believe he wants it not for an ego trip, but a desire to prove he is responsible particularly after the treatment he received in the German media post WC.
Fortunately, Emery seems to have realised relatively early that Ramsey and Ozil in his system doesn't work. With Mesut at 10, I think he are better able to utilise our runners on the wings and up front. Hoping to see greater consistency in the coming games, because when he plays well, he makes it so much easier for the players around him.
