willock sub was terrible , iwobi was bossing it in the middle and we lost the midfield battle afterwards..should have brought nketiah and go for the win...

issue 1... Iwobi was injured for the last 12-13 mns of the game.. bossing (or lack thereof) could have had to do with that too

I maintain that fielding a stronger side and getting a win here against this terrible manU side would have been better for our Thursday result than further compromising our confidence like this.

I thought Willock was really good when he came on. Mkhitaryan was the one player who was always going to go off anyway. This was all about bringing him up to speed after the injury.

just saw the replay.... sorry, but a taller keeper having worse reflexes on that header than Ospina? LMAO.. no way.. yes, it was in the corner, but it was almost a looping header, and a better keeper gets to it IMO

It took a nick off Xhaka's head right? Hard to judge for any keepers. Otherwise hypothetically every keeper would have gotten to Lacazette's header 3 days ago.

Mavranopos had such a great game, love him. Chambers as well, very solid and intelligent. This season he almost had no bad games. Can't believe we are still using Mustafi.

Positives were
AMN - He just has it. The calmness, timing and strength you want in a CM. If we don’t buy, I hope he starts more next year
Mavropanos - very good debut. Looks better than Chambers etc on limited viewing
Mkhitaryan- promising, really well taken strike

Didn't get to watch the game, but happy if Mavropanos and AMN did well. Mkhi ready for Thursday is also good, but it would actually be harsh on Welbeck to bench him now.

We should really start both actually. We need to chase a goal. Get Ozil centrally, Mkhi right and Welbeck left. Ramsey and Xhaka to sit.

Welbeck left, Mkhitaryan right possibly...? I think there's very little justification for lining up with Iwobi on Thursday.
