Assuming it's Allegri we are after, what's the earliest something could get announced? Most likely that Juve will win the Scudetto this weekend, so Allegri should be free to talk to Arsenal next week (if he wants to) - right? If we do this right, we could have a new manager by the end of the month I would think. Gazidis seemed fairly confident the new manager would be in place before the start of the WC - when's that - mid June?

He’d have been a very popular candidate here before PSG, I wonder how folks here feel about him now. Don’t think I’ve seen anyone here suggest him despite the fact that he’s a free agent.

We’d at least win the Europa League next season.

There’s no way of knowing for sure if Vieira is the right man to succeed Wenger, but the Frenchman has yet to take a misstep as a coach. At Man City, young players are now surfacing from the academy system he helped put in place. At NYC FC, he has forged one of the most dynamic sides in MLS. At the very least, the prospect of what Vieira might do at Arsenal is intriguing.

Saw a suggestion earlier in the week that the club are supposedly considering a younger manager such as PV / Arteta partnered to an experienced and capable assistant like those named from MU or LFC.

Discussing this is the Arsenal Youth Team thread, but I know most of you don't bother with that thread so will add it here.

It's the last day of 1st team training this season and there are unconfirmed reports that Arsenal have today fired first team coaches Neil Banfield and Boro Primorac, goalkeeping coach Gerry Peyton, and possibly assistant goalkeeping coach, Sal Bibbo.

The club have Also reportedly asked Jens Lehmann and Steve Bould to stay on with their roles to be decided by the new manager.

Looks like Freddie Ljungberg is about to be confirmed as the new coach of the U23s as well.

It's all going off. Finally!

Also reports that Bould and Lehman being made offers to remain,
