Bielsa would be fun
buvak's dad is sick.
Yeah sounds like a family matter being dramatised. After a quarter century in Klopp's pocket it's unlikely he's only just decided he can't handle the indignity.

Wouldn't surprise me if the bookies themselves leaked these stories to make a bit of money.

I can't imagine this to be true either but it's at least not made up by the bookies, it was first reported by some Bosnian sports portal. The reason the bookies have slashed the odds is that the same website were the first to break Klopp and Buvac going to Liverpool in 2015

I'd say its both a mental thing in terms of being switched on as well as muscle memory. Your trainer doesn't coach the correct movement over and over again or puts the focus on wrong aspects of goalkeeping and you start declining heavily. Happens all the time at many clubs - Frankfurt and back in the day Kaiserslautern have/had renowned GK coaches which resulted in whatever keeper they've had almost overperform for the duration of their stay at the clubs, regardless of age. Real Madrid have a very good keeping coach too, see how Lopez became almost unbeatable for his time there while being nothing more than decent before or after that time, and he moved there at 30+. Similar at Lyon, Coupet and Lloris peaked there and looked dodgy elsewhere and I bet the same happens with Lopes when he leaves.

Yeah but Cech was badly in decline in the last 2 years of his Chelsea career already. He had very obvious weakness and we still gambled on it for a cut price fix on the goalkeeping position. I knew it would be a disastrous signing and it the end he really costed us more points than he saved. Imagine how many points or title challenge we would have been closer to with a proper keeper over the past 4 years.
Don’t think a better keeper would have enabled us to challenge for the title....we haven’t been that close, nor has Cech devastated any title bids.

Further to that I saw somewhere that the source of that info re LFC is thought to have been Buvac himself - 1+1=5???

This Times article from December 2016 suggests Buvac is the guy that is most responsible for Liverpool's gegen-pressing and fitness levels and that Klopp will be lost without him.

The Times also reporting today that Buvac has fallen out with Klopp after 17 years working as a duo and Gazidis wants him at Arsenal as a part of the backroom staff to support a new young head coach, who obviously woudln't necessarily have his own men to follow him here.
Interesting
Adding Buvac to the backroom staff makes a lot of sense. The stories about him replacing Wenger, however, seem farfetched to say the least.
Could do with the conditioning he brings
I think we might be eyeballing him and Arteta
Keeps Sven and Ivan happy
Plus Raul will like a Spaniard in charge
A head coach and right hand man both with inky black hair
Actually I'd be OK with taking a gamble on a young, inexperienced manager if he's teamed up with capacities such as Buvac.
Is he lean Dules?
Myles hyping the Allegri links. Let's hope it's not true. Much rather get Mikel or Paddy.
He’s not lean Daz
Presumably Allegri is more likely now that Mancini has gotten the Italy job
The Mislintat connection makes the Buvac thing much more real.
So this Buvac guy is basically Klopp's Carlos Queiroz? Handy appointment if it significantly weakens Liverpool as well.
