Cech and Mustafi are 2 of the most disappointing first team signings we made in Wenger's 20 year reign here. Since they have came here, they are a liability most of the times and especially the past 2 seasons. Majority of direct defensive errors that led to goals are down to these 2 clowns. 45m for both of them is utterly laughable.
I actually thought that this was a surprisingly enjoyable half of football when it comes to the Arsenal of this season. Minus the Perez goal of course.

I can forgive Cech. He had been a very good goalie and should’ve given us 2-3 really good years while we looked for an Oblak or an Alisson. I just don’t know what Mustafi is good for

Indeed, the players are way better than this, most of them bar some of the kids at least. This is all blatant lack of coaching, just see the number of stray passes that's not lack of quality but of concentration.

It was an opportunistic signing for 10m. He was not good enough for Chelsea the past 2 years before he signed for us and we thought we could gamble on a cheapskate signing to win us some games but in the end he lost more than he won for us over the 3 years he has been here. It's disappointing we didn't show more ambitions to just get someone in who can be our number 1 for the next decade.

Unfortunately Mustafi has talent but even then he needs a good tactical manager to refine his errors.
Wenger is definitely not the manager to do this.

I think a good manager can resurrect Xhaka, but Mustafi is utterly hopeless. Some of the things he do as a defender can never be honed out of his game, plain stupidity and lack of awareness coupled with absolutely poor positioning. To put things into perspective 35m is:

One thing I find weird when I watch our games is when we have the ball in midfield I'm always looking at the runs of our players. Our players' runs don't seem to be into space that would allow one to pass and move. That's why we are always passing sideways and backwards, I feel. I would expect the players in front the ball to be moving laterally or diagonally to find space. But they often don't seem to be creating angles for the guy with the ball.
