π Do you think Cesc will stay for another year Ricky?
Daily Mail wouldnt be the Daily Mail without sensationalist rubbish anyway Klaus
Perfect. Even more DNA to unravel

I'd be very surprised if he left. They won't pay the money that we'd want, and I don't think Cesc is the sort to screw us and demand the move.
The two Barca kids are unlikely though to feature anytime soon in the first team, havent taken huge chunk of our transfer kitty and more importantly, pissed off Barcelona. Even f they never play, that alone almost makes it worthwhile

But he is the sort to sulk and feel sorry for himself like he did last season.
I don't agree with that.
Nor do I. Cesc spent the first half of the year fired-up as fuck. Manifested itself in both positive and negative ways, but he was hardly sulking.
I think his persistent injuries had more of an effect on his attitude than anything else. He didn't seem to cope well with the stop start nature of his season.
Wenger suggested that the recurrence of his injury had psychological causes.
"Eeet's all in your 'ed " - possibly not the most helpful of things to say.
Gurgen wrote: Wenger suggested that the recurrence of his injury had psychological causes.
"He feels responsibility to win things that's for sure," Wenger said. "I don't know if that has an influence, but it's difficult because you can have psychological reasons or physical reasons - it's difficult."

βIt is hard to overcome if you have a recurrence of injuries because it plays a part in your head until you get rid of it completely'
So the extra stress of responsibility could have partly caused the recurring injuries and the injury is on his mind during games.
He didn't sulk or feel sorry for himself this season. Gurgen just has some weird, petty little hatred for Cesc and has done for years.
The whole sulk storyline was a convenient one to explain a subpar season. The man, like Torres last year, played injured. Wenger is to blame for that. It's not worth playing your star player if he's unhealthy. Fabregas is one of the few you can trust to put in a shift when he's fit

We had this kid on a 10 day trial back in February 2010, he announced he was going to sign for us, but it didn't end up going through because we felt it better to leave it until the summer. The summer came and he ended up signing for Partizan Belgrade instead. Looks like we might have made a mistake (although work permit issues could have been a problem at the time). Anyway, he's 6'2" and compared to Vidic.

Now THAT is an interesting player! He certainly looks as exciting as they come.
Not for me. Would not be happy when spending that amount of money on what could turn out to be the next Heskey. Just glad it's caughtoffside.
He looks more like the next Drogba if you ask me, but there you go. The future will tell.
