We signed the players who we needed and only if one player is a big opportunity for us will we sign them. Normally, we are thinking about the young players, the possibility of them staying with us or going to play on loan at another team. We are also thinking about the players who were with us last year and whether we need them to stay with us. At the moment, I think the squad is complete. We will only sign another player if there is an opportunity to bring in that one player, or two players. We will only sign a player in the next month if he’s a big opportunity.[/font][/size]

If we can actually hook a madness in the next few weeks, i give the club a 10/10 this window

i'd already give it an 8 simply for getting players in positions that we have been needing players for years now.. and getting rid of some dead weight

dont do what? my expectations arent that high. i just want to see a bit of progress and a proper setup.. we may not get the results in the early days, but having a structure is more than we've had in many recent seasons

Would be a bit of a surprise to see Monreal allowed to move on. A new winger is a must get though.

Only 3 weeks to go till deadline day. We need to start shifting players fast if we want to add more. Doesn’t seem to be much in the way of speculation right now.

Wow, these are all positive signs though. Exactly who i would shift as well: Mustafi, Welbeck, Monreal - in that order. Plus Elneny. Replace them with actual players and we have already cleaned out most of the Wenger-era rut.

Or both, possibly. Emery's comments about Chambers makes me think he's favoured next to Sokratis unless we bring in someone new. It'll be interesting to see how we line up in the more important preseason games.

I’d sell Mustafi, Perez and Welbeck for a top class wide player. Worth potentially weakening defence for a real top class forward line.

Yeah, a top winger is nearly as rare as a top striker. I'd happily compromise with our CBs for another season in return.
