The only ones who were really daft were City who, according to Ornstein, decided to wait until the last day to finally make a bid. It's the sort of shit we normally try to pull. Ornstein also said we were willing to listen to offers most of the summer.
Anyway, looking at his first few games for United, I don't think the issue was that he wasn't giving 100%, he's just massively off form and perhaps a little past it.
