For a short moment on that flight, Aubameyang was told that the Giroud deal is off and they have turn the flight around back to Dortmund. And then our new super-team worked its magic and got the deal back on track.
According to flightradar that's their record of a flight being tracked

It's Auba time!!
BBC Sport
βAubameyang has been cleared to have his medical with Arsenal.
On BBC now as well. I'm excited.
Me likey!
I hope he shaves a cannon into his hair.
He better bring those spiderman and batman masks along to wear when he score against Spurs
I can't believe fans were tracking down a plane, 33,000 of them. Arsenal social media found a new level today.

Arsenal fans need SOMETHING to hold on to apparently
Does anyone have that Jack Sparrow gif with Alexis and the Arsenal ship going under?

Meh. Way to kill the fun Arsene.
Tranny windows were all we had left
my instant reaction to this signing was wenger would misuse him, and that hasn't changed. prepare to see him on the wing, or playing as a number 10 or some other senseless configuration
If heβs stupid enough to sign for us
Auba go home. Do NOT join Arsenal.
If he is wise he will change his mind in the 11th hour, I would.
Can't believe he's willing to waste his prime years with Wenger.

and Xhaka and El Neny and Bellerin and Mustafi and Iwobi
Wenger confirmed Auba last night, the video has since been removed from arsenal.com

All of those players bar Xhaka are salvageable, some even as starters. Bring in Conte and you will see.
Yeah. Just saw a slightly less grainy version.

I don't care about this signing anymore
Itβs excellent news but my word do we need more
If he hits the ground running, this signing will make a massive difference.

Editing is terrible
Lol, you think it's fake?
Looking at it again, it may have just been my phone getting the jitters.

Positive news in terms of the transfer.

I mean I don't have any reason to doubt the video. Maybe the question if Wenger ended up discussing something else.
Or if the question part was edited and he was ansering a question on whether Mikhitaryan can add to Arsenal's attacking game. However he clearly seems to be discussing a player we hope will add to our inefficient attack through his pace and the quality of his finishing, first assumption is he means Auba however knowing Wenger he could just as easily be talkinh about Mikhi same way he does about Welbeck et al.
