Yeah

To be fair, by Qwiss definition, isn't every club that sells a player holding firm? Every selling club holds firm until they get a bid they're willing to sell for.

I genuinely don't think Arsenal held firm for RVP or arguably Fabregas.

Kind of. Leicester were within their rights not to sell Mahrez if Barca didn't give them enough to get the deal done. We did give Dortmund enough to get the deal done. Thats why saying its hypocritical to criticise Mahrez because we signed a player is just fucking stupid.

Seems like a fire sale at Atlético right now, Carrasco and Gaitan both sold to China with the former apparently joining Juve in the summer in some shady deal

Also Griezmann to Barcelona for 100m in July, how on earth are they even going to line up

Simeone to Arsenal hopefully!

We're after Lemina and Jorginho. Many pool journalists are linking us with a mega money move for Jorginho.

Jorginho is real class, doubt you get him though. If you did it would be interesting to see how he and Kieta would work together in midfield. No real ball winner there, unless you get another midfielder.

Rumors of the mouth breather heading off for Real Madrid hotting up. Be a big blow for the scum that.

Liverpool being linked with Ceballos. Their midfield would, unfortunately, look pretty impressive with Keita, him and one more.

Thiago Alcantara to Man City doing the rounds

Makes sense - sublime player

Yeah makes sense, like for like replacement for the 32 year old Silva in their current system.

Thiago is incredible. Very injury prone though.

This season just keeps getting better.

😆 that is some funny news, why would they want Immobile anyways?

He's proven multiple times that he can't play outside of Italy.

100m will barely get you SMS, and he sure as shit wouldn't move to Spurs

Fekir to Liverpool? Doing the rounds as Aulas confirms he is leaving. We should not let that happen.

If this Liverpool team gets Fekir after Keita this summer, then we will start to have real problems.

Whoever who gets Fekir will definitely challenge for the league. Very special player.

Liverpool are serious business. I’m not going to lie, I’m a little envious of Liverpool fans right now.

They're allegedly also interested in ousmane dembele. Salah off perhaps? Either way you have to admire the way pool have gone about securing their big targets of late. When you're on an upswing, don't fuck around, make the most of it and get deals across the line fast

Don't worry. We'll have plenty of posters here to explain how Iwobi is better than Fekir and Wilshere is better than Keita.

Which foolish posters will be here spouting such ignorance? There is a chasm between Fekir and Iwobi. On Keita and Wilshere at least you can discuss how each is better at certain aspects of the game, but Keita is overall the better player now

Yep, they say one of the front 3 is off...hope it's Salah, I would be ok with Firmino as well. Mane can stay with them.

But they are proactive in replacing players. Kudos to them. We have our work cut out for us

Fuck Liverpool. Remember how they signed Lemar just last window

Fekir in, Salah out. No big deal.

No, we wont. You're just creating a narrative.

Bale to United > Salah to Madrid > Fekir to Liverpool

Fekir would be a huge upgrade on Firmino (natural replacement)

This would be a perfect outcome. Madrid need a serious upgrade on Bale, and someone to take the load of Ronaldo. It would be great for United to splash the cash on a Galactico who really isn't. And although Fekir is amazing, he isn't Salah

Thats what we need to do more often. There is no point clinging onto players for dear life nowadays. Just sell and replace. Maybe we've turned the corner on that now. Sanchez and Giroud out, Auba and Mhki in was a positive switch.

Fermino just signed a five year contract and is a Kopp favorite. He’s not going anywhere, and I expect he’ll continue to start with Fekir as an AM vs teams that sit deep.

Liverpool can somewhat afford to do this because they have made 2 huge sales in the past few years (Suarez for 75M and Coutinho for 125M). I have been saying this for a while, but one of our big issues in the transfer market has been the lack of a big player sale (the max was 40M for Ox and before that, I guess the 25M for Cesc, Ade, Kolo, etc.). While I agree that they are proactive and so on, part of their ability to seal deals early comes from just meeting the ask (75M for Van Dijk and 70M for Fekir) in addition to quick decision making etc etc. Every other club around us (bar City) has made money off player sales (Y**ted made 80M for Ronaldo back when that was equivalent to 2 WC players, Sprs made money on Bale, Pool as above + Torres and Chelsea on Oscar, Luiz, etc.)
