Probably next summer's Iwobi.
good utility player, nothing more. he's not going to start for us and the sooner he accepts that the better. if it means selling him like iwobi then so be it

I get that impression as well and think he is being badly advised if he is putting in half-hearted performances as that's a sure way out of the club.
Lol. As usual over the top knee jerk comments.
He is clearly off form, but he is also a very good player.

Very good player?
I would keep him. You have to feel for the lad , he is clearly not a fullback. Is this the longest period of time that we've had a midfielder filling in at fullback at Arsenal? Remember AMN also had a stint filling in at LB as well. He doesnt have the defensive awareness / positioning to be a permanent fixture there. Just unfortunate that we have had Bellerin out so long and management has outright refused to sign a replacement worthy of the role.
He made a perfectly good tackle today and got sent off. Done dirty by the referee.

Yes, he's definitely a good player. Out of sorts right now, and he seems to be a bit demoralised that he isn't getting to play in what he feels is his position but that's something he'll either have to get over or play himself into contention there.
I think it could be a case of our fans overeating a player too quickly if I’m being honest.
I find him too nonchalant for my liking, a bit clumsy/error prone and the jogging around shit really bothers me.
Chambers deserves to start ahead of him imo.
I think its pretty obvious he has shown enough in the past 2 years to know he is good enough to be starting for us. He just need to get his head check and concentrate 100% of the time on the pitch. Sometimes it seems like he thinks its too easy.
He has to show a lot more for me. The good thing is he’s young, and therefore has lots of room for improvement, but he hasn’t exactly grown in leaps and bounds despite having ample opportunity. Decent for his age, but he’s nothing special. Definitely not first team material. If he’ll accept a bench role, I’m cool with him staying with us.
It's hardly kneejerk when he's been diabolical all season.

Yeah this. I know he doesn't want to play RB but I don't quite see him at the technical level needed to play in midfield. As a bench player he's perfectly fine and probably deserves another season at the club. Don't forget that at one point he was very highly rated himself
if he's a midfielder then it's certainly not of the caliber wee need for our current level and for damn sure not on the level we aspire to be.
He’s a good back up right back. Now we just have to hope that the designated starting right back is actually good enough to fulfill that role within this calendar year.
Personally don’t think it should have been a second yellow.....

he hasn't though? Hence kneejerk

He was absolutely awful against Watford but apart from that he's been ok. I think its harsh to go after him for yesterday, when he was sent off he'd put in a really good tackle and the kind of thing I want to see from him when we are one down.
We were all fooled by the villa player's theatrics and I only realised it was a clean tackle after seeing the replay. If this was one of our players getting an opponent sent off, the media would be going to town. e: It's a shame VAR doesn't check yellow cards. Why is that the case, btw?
