A lot of reports of Nzonzi being allowed to travel to London last night to sort his future. I’ve not seen much of him but based on how highly rated he is on here I wouldn’t say no. It would be good to get something done in Jan to ease pressure on what we need in the summer.

Nzonzi is no Kante. Bit of a freightship like Xhaka when he moves around. Wouldn't make sense to me.

You'd think Walcott will want out. If he doesn't it's just another reason to get rid as I'm not sure I want someone with so little desire to actually play.

I think Giroud might go too. He's better than simply being a Europa League striker, at the same time I don't think he's been much use in his current role.

Girouds having a terrible season so far but I'd be worried about letting him go. If Lacazette got a long term injury we'd be really short without him.

Theo should go. If he had a good second half of the season somewhere he'd probably make the England squad.

I think he'd offer a lot more than Xhaka, but he's not the technician that Arteta / Cazorla were.

Sure but he's not Cazorla/Gündogan/Busquets level, which I think is what we need to significantly improve the team.

Very similar to Ramsey for me, but with more technical ability. Box to box with a knack of scoring goals being in the right place at the right time

He's a more "reserved" version of Ramsey....a la Arteta at his best, which I often find myself wanting. His goal scoring ability isn't on Ramsey's level but he gets into the goals as he has a great engine and is a smart finisher.

Would be interesting to pair him and Ramsey alongside each other ahead of a traditional holding midfielder for away games, but it would likely be overkill at home.

I don't see the Ramsey/Arteta comparison, to be honest, but i've only watched highlight reels so i cannot say for sure..

Yeah, those aren't always the most accurate.....actually annoys me that you end up with "highlight" reels over-emphasizing such moments instead of a player's impact on the game.

Doubt there's an accurate Viera highlight reel out there.

Rumours that Everton want Theo, would make sense as they desperately lack pace. Question is would you take Barkley as part exchange? I would've in the summer, he'd be good back up at AM but I'm not sure how he will be when he returns from injury. Or push them and go for Gueye maybe.

I didn't even like Barkley when he was good. His decision making has always been appalling and since then he's lost a lot of the other aspects to his game that made him good. At 24 he's in firm Oxlade-Chamberlain territory. I'd rather give some of our younger players, such as Iwobi and Nelson, that playing time.

Gueye hasn't been particularly impressive this year has he?
