I'm sure you're trying to justify the crowd behaving the way they did but you're doing a really bad job of it.
No, I’m criticizing Xhaka for thinking he’s too big to get booed and should lash out at the crowd when they do it. If Cristiano Ronaldo can get booed and take it on the chin, how is Xhaka above it?
I can’t tell my client to fuck off at work because guess what, I have to be professional. Like Xhaka I’m also a human being, but I can’t let my emotions spill over as much as sometimes I would like to.
Xhaka's been booed by opposition fans before, most notably for his country and managed it. This isn't just about being booed, it's being targeted by your own fans for months culminating in what you saw this weekend. Pretty sure Ronaldo hasn't had months of abuse leading up to the time Madrid fans boo-ing him that one time. Besides, we've already seen how Eboue and Ramsey reacted when Arsenal fans gave them a difficult time.
Should Xhaka have reacted? No and I'm sure he wishes he kept his anger to himself. Is his reaction understandable? Yes. But you're determined to see this as an ordinary occurrence that someone should just take on the chin and behave like a useful automaton. I suggest that this kind of view of what footballers are today is further driving a wedge between the club and fans.
As for your job - well, I'm going to assume that you don't work in an adrenaline filled environment but, if you do, your passion, ability and integrity isn't questioned live by 60,000 people and broadcast across the world for your friends and family to see. Oh and your clients possibly don't spend their weekends abusing your wife and newborn child online. Happy to be corrected though, you could be a politician.
