Actually, just watched the footage again and Xhaka threw the armband on the floor when he saw his number was up, that’s when the boos really started to get loud. Auba picked up the armband and shook his head while watching Xhaka trudge off. Did little wrong? As the so-called captain, he has certain responsibilities that he has to fulfil, one of them his behaviour and how he carries himself in certain situations. The fans were awful, but Xhaka is not blameless by any means.
