Yeah, lacks any sort of context. I’m no fan of Xhaka but he’s a good player with glaring weaknesses. With Mustafi out of the picture though he seems to be the main target now.

Auba is just tired of playing with clowns. He’s 30 and wants to win now while he’s in his prime. He hasn’t got long left.

As for team spirit, Xhaka hardly helps matters by blaming the strikers for not winning against Spurs when really he should be looking in the mirror.

Do everything to ship him out in January and that’s problem solved.

Auba probably just misclicked or didn't pay attention to what it was. If it was intentional though it wouldn't matter how much of a clown Xhaka was, it would just be an incredibly scummy thing to do.

The sound bite xhaka gave about the penalty is an old one Wenger used to protect his shit keepers. Its probably the only excuse he can think of at the time.

Obviously it's not the best excuse as him miss hitting a pass is like a striker miss hitting a shot. Him flying in late on a striker would be more comparable to auba flying in late on the opposition keeper studs up and getting send off. One is poor technique which happens everyone from time to time the other is reckless stupidity which happens reckless stupid people frequently.

Auba is a social media veteran so I think he is definitely sending a message in defence of Laca, Pepe and himself to make sure Xhaka thinks before making a similar blame-shifting comment in public.

We knew auba wasn't an angel when we signed him. If we weren't paying him absolute truck loads of cash hed be kicking hard for a move already. Still he's too old and too good for europa. Can't imagine he'll sit around quietly next summer if we're still shit. People will call him a snake but personally I wount expect him to stay. Rumblings of displeasure only go public when things are pretty heated.

I disagree as his issue with Dortmund was similar to Kos. They wouldn't let him go in the summer of 2017 so he started agitating in November for the January 2018 move.

He doesn't have any similar issue with us and hasn't done anything out of order in the 20 months he has been here. Also, no similar club is matching the rate we are paying him, given his age and he has the Chinese league in the future to boost his retirement pension.

Another part to that saga was reports that there was an agreement between club and player that he could leave if a bid of a certain value was received,. A bid was reportedly made but the club went back on the agreement which was when the shenanigans began off the pitch.
