Wouldn't underestimate Roma. They have the best goalie in the world and clearly have the potential to beat anyone on their day, had the harder road to the semis than Liverpool too. I'd even have them slight favourites if they're at 100%

Agree with everything. I think they have a better team than Liverpool, and I don't really think it's close, although they perhaps lack a player on Salah's level. Their best keeper, defender, midfielder and striker are all better than Liverpool's equivalents though. Their spine is rock solid.

Bet the Liverpool players are mentally punching the air and high fiving that draw.

Lulled into a sense of overconfidence that they will try to talk away.

That will be their undoing.

I hope.

I think that's exactly what they're doing too. It's gonna be great to watch them realise how wrong they were to take Roma lightly.

Yea but the fans aren't Klopp or the players. I'm hoping the overconfidence trickles down, but players like Salah can flip a tie on its head. Can't wait to see Dzeko bully Lovren. Like most of us I imagine, I've been pulling hard for Roma, and that last game has justified my liking them over the other Italian teams.

It is, I actually struggle to name their best XI because of how versatile EDF can be in picking his team. Dzeko is obviously their main striker but I like them even more when they field their midget trio in Perotti SES and Ünder. Nainggolan and Strootman is as good as it gets too, backline is a bit iffy. Biggest issue with them is their lack of consistency/mental fortitude, they can beat the likes of Chelsea (when they were good) Barca or Napoli at the San Paolo but fuck up elsewhere, although they did improve on that front from last season. We'll see soon enough I guess

Coombs: Y va was referring to the players. I'm convinced too that they think they just got a golden ticket. They expect a great day and all the chocolate they can eat. I can't wait to see them disappear at the hands of some cunning oompa loompa.

Fancy Roma to win over the two legs. Dzeko will be tough to stop.

He played like a peak Drogba vs Barcelona.

At 32, it's impressive that he seems to be better than he ever was.

They couldn't take the ball off him, he had so much power and control up front for Roma.

He'll succumb to the might of Van Dijk, we'll roll through to the final. 2-0 first leg. 0-0 second leg.

They’re not conceding y

Rock solid that Liverpool defence

Not sure you are aware, Anfield, but we all agreed to cut out use of that word on this forum.

No  chance that it's let slip then?

Ha. He succumbed to the might of Demba Ba!

😆

They're getting songs ready on RAWK

I have been think about this for a while and this is the best I can come up with (to the tune of Yellow Submarine)

We all live in  Jürgen Klopp World
Jürgen Klopp World, Jürgen Klopp World
We all live in  Jürgen Klopp World
Jürgen Klopp World, Jürgen Klopp World

And as the kop beings to sing
Jürgen Klopp we all love him

Many fans are jealous of him
as his hugging IS THE BEST (shouted at the end).

Have to get something about a Jürgen Klopp hug into it somewhere surely?  😉  Its the last two lines I am struggling with.

Only the last two, mind 🙂😃

Bless, he's probably only about 10 years old, I hope.

dzeko is going to grab a brace at Anfield and make Jurgen flash his yellow teeth

Been a long long time since we had an underdog at this stage of competition, really hope they make the final

Monaco reached the semis last year.
