Anyone but Madrid.
The one we ain't playing 2017/18
Anyone but Liverpool for me. I'll be open, most of it out of emotional self presevation. I was happy to see them draw City. Guaranteed that we would have at most one English team in the semis. Now of the other 3 teams to deal with them please. Seeing one of these teams win is just a reminder of how rubbish we are

I do. I'm seeing one on Saturday.
Yeah, which prison are you visiting?

Not once did we get past them, you would think that in 8 ties like that, we would make it past them at least once...but no, the law of average dose not apply to us. Just shows you how past it Wenger is. Can't make it in the Champions League with a team that has no tactics...
Came on to write the exact same thing. Was watching Pool and Roma last night and thinking wow - we have more expensive squads than these guys but would have no hope of ever going against these big teams over two legs and overwhelming them as we saw last night.
And if Kroenke was an actual football fan, he'd see this and end this nightmare.
I read that, and in my head I immediately questioned it (in relation to Liverpool). I haven't followed through as to approximate values, but it made me realise the cost of the squad we now have, with the likes of Mustafi, Xhaka, Ozil, Lacazette and Aubameyang. I'm under no illusions there's been money there but I suppose I haven't at any point stopped to consider not only the level of investment, but just quite how poor the return on that investment actually is.
The other galling thing is that Liverpool's dynamic, pacy and dangerous front three are all players that could have been considered realistic and achievable targets for us in terms of both profile and finance.
Klopps taken us from a team finishing 6th-8th every season to 2 consecutive top 4 finishes and a CL semi final on a negative net spend. Never want to see a graph comparing him and Brendan Rodgers again.
Countinho out broke me at the time but we're a better team now.
We've got a huge budget in the summer and Keita to add to this squad. Loving it at the minute.
Need to win something mate

Weeeeeeeeell, ask and you shall receive
Sorry (not really) to bust your bubble but... the most important stat is the one in the first box. Neither manager has won a single trophy for you.
That being said, Rodgers has a higher win % having played 40% more games. Plus you mention finishing top 4 as if it's a good thing and but didn't Rodgers actually almost win you the title. You've been nowhere near ever since.
Which almost league title are you talking about, Big Willie? Is this when Gerrard was tumbling about against Chelsea?
This one?
No. I think it might be the season they bottled a 3-0 lead against Palance in the last 10 mins he's refering to.

That's the one. Fitting that it was Stevie Me that eventually cost them.
Edit:
Goon the one in 2014. I can't see your image at work.
Edit 2:
They both happened in the same season. The Suarez season where Gerrard slipped against Chelsea and then they lost a 3 goal lead against Crystal Palace in the final few games.
Been a rough year as a Liverpool fan I would imagine. Jamie Carragher spitting on a young girl and fans trashing City’s team bus. Nothing to be proud of
Carragher.
Been a pretty rough 28 years I'd be thinking. Since I'm an old man now, I can actually remember when people feared Liverpool a little bit.

Haha.
My plane to Australia leaves on Friday morning.
Juve 1-0 already
Such an underrated player, Mandzukic.
Legendary, Klaus.
That goal was 80% Costa. Juve's best player this season and it's not really close
Stop hating Jonesy.

I think it's hard to argue with Dybala and Pjanic, but Costa is a pure joy to watch when he's on song. He's arguably even better right now than he was for Bayern. Something about him that screams 90's or early 00s footballer.
