I reckon it'll be a thrashing at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona aren't half of what they used to be but they didn't even have to try tonight and they got the result they wanted.

Oh Barça tried.

The goal they got was because of one bad mistake from Christensen.

Other than that there wasn't really anything clear cut from them. Just good possession.

Adds to the magic of the CL. But everyone knows the game and rules.

In what sense?

I’ve seen so many ties and comebacks killed off because of away goals.

Yup the team that won did what they had to do. Ive seen games where teams out of it but are then through because of 1 away goal or are back in the tie because of a goal.

Fucking Bayern again helped by an early red card, Besiktas would have given them a run for their money 11v11

Was it deserved the red card?

Well yeah but a team doing what they had to do doesn’t add to the magic does it? It’s just exploiting a bullshit rule that has little to do with quality.

Also the nature of away goals means it’s never easier to come back, just means instead of equalising, you’re through. I don’t think that adds to the magic.

How was Özyakup tonight? We've been linked with a move back for him.

Clear as day.

Didn't start for them.

I maintain that Lewandowski could've easily skipped the challenge. Good call but fuck him still

He gave an interview yesterday claiming the reason why Ronaldo and Messi score more than him is because they're wingers which is easier than playing up front with your back to goal 😆

Any particular reason given?

But what would you expect from someone whose bachelor thesis' title was "RL9: how a kid from the street became a superstar"

Don't know why so many in here are celebrating barca's goal... few clubs I despise more from an arsenal fan's perspective.

Luckily one of those clubs happen to be Chelsea so it's all good.

That Christensen lad might as well be an Arsenal defender playing a suicidal pass across his own box like that.

Just want United to lose tonight and a winner from outside England/Madrid. Can't be fucked with the details. Least interested I've been in football for a long while.

You’re willing Spurs to victory. The continental teams are not convincing. I’m very worried. City and Pool have a really good chance.

I don’t care what other teams do.

I only need my Arsenal back

I care. I don’t want English teams winning. Especially Spurs and City

I think that's petty.

Let them reap the rewards of their better planning / organization / finances, and let us reap the rewards of ours, but I won't begrudge any team their progress in comparison to us when we basically self sabotaged and strategically removed ourselves from the conversation.

Screw that 😆

I assume you’ll be rooting for City on Sunday then.

Honestly don't know who they are playing or when or where..
Like I said - don't care.
