Can you imagine if Barca gets knocked out next round, we would really be regretting how we bottled it. Could have went all the way to Wembley without meeting those cunts and get a beatable opponent in the finals. Oh well, gotta live with it. Still can do the double.
Champions League Knockout Stages
Btw, all four teams that went through played their home tie in the 2nd leg. Its really crucial to finish top, hope we realise it next season
Our team lacks seriousness. The way we have treated all the cups has actually been pathetic. We threw away a good lead in our Champs League group, messed around in Carling Cup final, and then handicapped ourselves with unnecessary replays in the FA Cup. Madness. At least we're still in the FA Cup
Fucking hell, Spuds go through...
Fucks sake. We really did ourselves no favours though by coming 2nd to Donetsk.
With any luck. spuds will draw Barca and go out, fucking their 4th place up in the process.
Fuck sake, this season is a nightmare.
They were singing about Arsenal at the end of the game. During a game where they made history for their club. Small-timers.
Plus Harry Redknapp has a dig at our performance against Barca us in the post-match. What a big man.
Barca, United, Chelsea, & Real would comfortably beat them over two legs, not to mention the fact that it's unlikely they'll even make the champions league this season. COYS!
Again, our players should be listening, fuming, and planning revenge when we met Spurs in the league. right...
I hope Spurs draw Barca next round. I'd like to see how many goals they score and how many they ship.
My Champions League dream draw is Manchester United and Chelsea drawing each other in Q/Fs, only for the winner to play Barca/Spurs in semifinals.
This season isn't a nightmare. We're in our best position in years to win the league, if we win at the weekend we'll be in a similar position in the FA cup, while Spurs are exceptionally unlikely to win anything and will likely finish up outside the CL spots.
Would you trade positions with them? No chance.
Most Arsenal fans said Spurs wouldn't even make it out of the Group Stage.
If Spurs avoid Barcelona, I do not see why they can't go to Wembley.
Don't go over the top, Spurs looked very average last night.
And they still made it through against the Italian league leaders. Other than Barca, who are Spurs supposed to be afraid of in this year's Champs League? Bayern who are falling far behind in their own league, an inconsistent Chelsea and United, Inter who they ran circles around earlier this season? Real or Lyon? Barca should win this quite easily unless Mourinho or Ancelotti really do their homework
You're right, Spurs have it won already
Chelsea and United would knock them out over two legs 95 times out of 100 (just for Burnsy!). Real Madrid would also be far too strong for them.
Leading Serie A or not, Milan are crap, it was actually a little sad watching them to see how far they have fallen from the days of Maldini, Kaka and Pirlo a few years back. Spurs scraped through, shitting bricks all the way. They have about as much chance as we do of winning the Champions League this season.
Milan would be very strong if they had Cassano, Gattuso and Pirlo starting tbf

Madrid, Chelsea, United and Barcelona are better than Spurs. You say Chelsea and United are inconsistent but they're still above Spurs in the league, so surely Spurs are even more 'inconsistent'. Inter Milan have been a significantly better side since they got rid of the waiter and Spurs beating Inter in the group stages means very little. Barcelona beat Inter in the group stages last season as well, you know how that ended.
Don't care, I'm not going to watch any more of this competition.
Neither am I.
Seriously? You lads aren't interested in watchning great football played at the very highest level?
Not this year.
