They are in terrible form but, sooner rather than later, class will tell.

Another day, another worldie from Asensio.
Ridiculous player.
Best scorer of great goals currently in world football. Reminds me a little of Quagliarella the previous decade. Guy has ridiculous ability
His overall game is pretty lacking still though has to be said. Scores one beauty after another though
Thomas Partey at Atlético is probably saving Simeone's job at the moment, yesterday's last minute winner means he scored the last three goals Atlético have scored vs Elche in the CDR, Qarabag in the CL and now in the league at Deportivo, not bad for a rotational CM. Hope they can stay somehow in contention until Costa and Vitolo arrive in January
ronaldo is getting worse with his reactions to his teammates' goals. Walk away after his assist for their third goal.
barca robbed off a goal lol. ball was about a foot in.
Refereeing in Spain is a joke, as usual.
Why can't we have video replay on simple decisions such as these? Ridiculous.
Either way can't say I'm ever in the slightest bit diaappointed when Barca are robbed.
valencia break ahead

One of the worst decisions I've seen. Bet La Liga now get that goal line technology once Barcelona kick up a fuss after this.
Happy to see Valencia do well after the trauma of being managed by Gary Neville.

Good, after all the shit the pulled against us. They deserve a lot worse.
this second half is turned out to be some game!
Amazing seeing suarez play, how much useless he's become
Suarez has been shit for a while.
messi of course

What? The referees fucked Barcelona for the entire last season.
Also, La Liga will join Serie A and Bundesliga in using VAR next season.

Long may that continue lol.
end to end till the last shot. great game. one each for valencia, barcelona and the refs
umtiti hamstring, vermaelen in. Means madrid are back in too.
Not sure about that, Madrid are 8 points off and not in great form.
Madrid have scored 5 against sevilla. By the 42min mark. In the first half.
Ronaldo starting moves for the last two goals from deep.
Barcelona have hit the post 24 times this season (there was one more after this tweet), 14 out of those by Messi. I remember how some kept saying Pogba was unlucky last season for hitting the post 7 times over the full season - Messi is going at literally over four times the rate currently
Hattrick of post hitting yesterday.
What is this game?
Must've watched that about a dozen times. So ridiculously effortless
I was struck by the players executing their roles in the build-up after Suarez' donkey touch.
I took note of the way the full back read the play so took up that wide role as it developed so was in position to execute the bellerin kryptonite pass for the Suarez finish.
So much space can open up when you have technically brilliant players who can play their way out of tight spaces.

I am jealous.
Villarreal actually somehow managed to get relegated that season
Was this under Marcelino, Jones?
Marcelino only joined in 2013 when they were in Segunda. That was probably under Garrido or his caretaker successor
Real Madrid absolutely imploded after 0-1. Messi had a quiet game, but should probably have had two more assists.
Messi had a great second half. Created about half a dozen one on ones for Barca. First half was drab, felt like a epl game with so many misplaced passes.
Kovacic man marking him messi in retrospect was a spectacular failure for me as it left space behind for the first goal and he wasn't focused on tracking back. Then messi through ball led to the red card and penalty. Then an assist for the third after casually beating a guy on the wing.
Stupid time change.
That's the laliga settled for this season.

It's ridiculous that Zidane thought that would work. I remember Girona tried the same thing, apparently told one player to just stay on Messi no matter what. Messi didn't get any goals or assists, but just constantly dragged him away, creating space for everyone else. Barcelona won that game 3-0 as well.
Apparently it worked in the supercopa. Didn't see that.
Zidane should watch out. Even with the intercontinental cup, this form could cost him his job
