I will admit, after seasons of seeing us concede 40+ goals, it would be useful to have a Simeone type to cleanse us of our foolishness at hte back

I think this dirty or cheating reputation they have is bollocks. They play a physical brand of football but so does almost every top team. They're not as naive as our bunch of choir boys but I'd rather have that type of "cheating" or rather gamesmanship than us getting fucked over as we always do, also they're not nearly as bad as say Ferguson's teams in the past.

As for boring football - these first five minutes of the second half are as beautiful as any team in Europe is going to play this season.

If you want cheating, watch Spurs' forwards flopping every time they get near a penalty area. If you want boring, watch United depending on Fellaini to simultaneously run a midfield and be a commanding aerial presence on deadballs.

Payet injury was massive, they looked lost after that.

Watching the final just makes me sad. We were easily better than Atletico over 2 legs and should easily have dispatched Marseille.
