Sport Bild are linking us with a move for Goretzka this summer. They say Wenger wants him in this window - his contract expires next summer and he's so far refused to sign the 4 year deal Schalke are offering him. Schalke say they won't sell but surely they'd rather have €20-30m in their pocket - which is the fee being bandied about - than lose him for nothing and have no say over where he ends up cough Bayern cough.

Haven't seen much of him at Schalke but he really impressed me at the Confederation Cup. Would be a top signing, especially for the money being mentioned.
