Technically he is well rounded.
His decision making is a huge problem though. I loved his ability to read a game from the very first game and I would like to give him the benefit of doubt.
He has been thrown into the deep end at a level which is light years ahead of where he was playing a couple of years back in terms of pace and power if not technique.
I was more afraid when he was making poor decisions letting players get by him from the outside early on in the season but now he is much better in those situations. He has adapted well and quickly. I believe his at times rashness in the box which has cost us penalties can be ironed out.
Also objectively looking at it, his mistake on Sunday, although another example of poor decision making will not happen ever again. Poor communiation has caused many gaffes from good defenders and goalies in the past.
