What the media call it is not the primary concern here surely?
This obsession with how these mass murders are labelled by the media usually results in people settling in their own thought bunkers and moving on from the central issue: how are kids to be protected in American schools, how are American people to be kept safe in public spaces, when the whole population can be armed to the teeth?
My brother, his wife, my niece and nephew, 7 and 4, live in the US, my blood runs cold every time I hear the news starting with a report of a mass shooting.
