I love how it didn’t even register this time around. That’s what happens after a while. You get used to it. You get numb. That’s what this country can do to you. I never want to get numb. But it’s hard to be mad every single week over something that can be stopped, but that the country leadership chooses to let go on. Thoughts and prayers, flag at half mast for a bit, but the gun show must go on.
I did want to highlight how fast the killer was apprehended this time, compared to the thousands of unsolved and presumably unsolvable murder cases when it’s those pesky people of color involved.
