Me too. I really think Mbappe is the one. I don't think I have seen a bigger forward talent emerge in the last 10 years, possibly with the exception of Neymar. The likeness to Thierry Henry is downright scary. If there ever was a footballer out there who was tailor made for everything Wenger aspires to achieve on a football field...
In short, if we lose out on him because we weren't willing to pull out all the stops we might as well not bother with anything anymore. Wenger seems to think so too. I'm personally convinced that he is willing to spend this kind of money on Mbappe. The trick will be to convince the player to come here instead of Real Madrid, but I do think we make more sense career-wise. History is full of great talents who never found the right circumstances to flourish because they made too big a jump too early. Even Henry flopped at Juventus where the environment called on him to adapt rather than to evolve.
