Manchester city is nowhere near real Madrid in terms of level. One has barely competed in the CL and struggled in domestic comps. The other has a multitude of CL wins, history, domestic titles, and general cachet.

Pep isn't going to change that with money or words in the press.

I don't think Barca could afford Mbappe. Apparently, buying players from Monaco causes a 20% tax because Spain sees Monaco as a tax haven!
